Mission Related Improvements

A previously prepared Installation Development Plan (IDP) from 2014 outlined master planning issues and recommendations for the transition from fighter wing support to C-130 aircraft support. Now that the transition has occurred, an updated IDP master plan document was needed to address deficiencies discovered post-transition.

Present & Future

This IDP included a written report, and graphics boards of the MTANG site, showing existing conditions and proposed future improvements. -The report presented recommended improvements to base facilities in context with scheduled and proposed MILCON and SRM projects. -The scope included study and recommended improvements for civil, traffic, demolition, new construction, renovation, base entry and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (AT/FP).

A Tool for Development

This updated IDP will serve to enable the base to evaluate recommendations, begin discussions, and ultimately improve base facilities with subsequent projects to allow the MTANG to properly move forward with the current mission.
