Entering the Cantilever Wood Canopy
The BADASS civil engineering firm of Robert Peccia & Associates’ new headquarters building in the South Hills of Helena provides brand-new Class-A offices, conference rooms, and meeting spaces – all with large windows, providing natural light and views to the users of the building.
Visitors at the north entrance to the building enter under cover of cantilevered wood canopies, through an expansive glazed lobby to be greeted by reception. An open wood and steel stair connects users from the lobby to a second floor overlook and staff entrance at the southern second level.
Panoramic Views of the Elkhorn and Big Belt Mountains
The materials chosen throughout the interior and exterior of the building are of a refined and natural, yet rustic quality. Both a north-facing and south-facing rooftop deck provides employees with the ability to take advantage of the views into the South Hills of Helena and the Elkhorn and Big Belt Mountains to the north and east.
Achieving LEED® Silver certification, this multi-level building is landscaped with natural stone-block terracing walls and a bioswale connecting both levels of parking, improving water quality by providing on-site surface-water treatment.
The natural materials mirror many elements of the local environment of Montana.
