Iconic Yet Unchanged
The Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse stands as a majestic symbol of justice in Butte, Montana, its historic architecture reflecting the city's rich mining heritage.
Within its walls, echoes of legal battles and community affairs resonate, weaving a narrative that mirrors the resilience and determination of the people it serves.
Inclusive Restroom Redesign
Renovation and remodeling efforts on the first floor, which are currently under construction, aim to address current issues, striving for equitable and accessible restroom facilities.
In addition to new, more equally sized mens and womens restrooms, a new single use family restroom has been added.
The spaces have been outfitted with historically appropriate materials and fixtures. Existing marble toilet partitions will be repurposed in the new restrooms, along with some of the existing light fixtures.
