Safety & Respite

  • This group home was completed in 2020 and provides a transitional living opportunity for up to twelve individuals.

  • The home-like environment includes a community kitchen and commons, multiple living areas at varying scales, and individual bedrooms to find stability, safety and support.

Resources for Residents

  • With the Center for Mental Health Clinic just across the street, residents are supported by licensed professionals and clinical programs to help them find stability.

  • The group home is designed with an abundance of natural daylight and offer views to Mount Helena and the Sleeping Giant. The space gives it's residents a sense of dignity and pride in where they live.

  • Resident rooms are private and carefully designed to keep residents safe from self-harm.

Planning with a PAR

  • This project was funded by a block grant from CDBG after the submission of a successful Preliminary Architectural Report (PAR) that identified and demonstrated the need for additional mental health space.
